SENIORS;
Div 1 Men played Sebastopol under lights Saturday night at St Georges. The Vikings are a strong unit and won the match 5-1. Alex Strange was our scorer.
Div 1 Women took on Bacchus Marsh on Pleasant Street. We had a 2-0 win. Amelie Marshall scored both goals before going down with an injury late in the match.
We wish Amelie all the best in recovery.
Div 2 Men played before the Div 1 men on Friday night. Vikings were too good and took the points. Final score 0-7.
JUNIORS;
Under 17;
Ballarat SC played Vic Park on Trekardo. Great hard fought match ending in a 2-2 draw. Adam Pitt and Daniel Irving were our scorers.
Ballarat White were the first up on Trekardo playing the Vikings. End result was a 0-14 loss but the girls had some great plays and were very competitive.
Under 15;
Ballarat SC hosted league leaders Daylesford. The boys couldn’t convert their chances and the Saints took the points 0-6. Big thanks to Cyrus coming up from the U13s to sub in for his brother Levi.
Ballarat Red Travelled across town to Russell Square. BNUSC were too strong though. final score 3-14. Ryan McNaulty, Jye Mullins and Nick Ruyg scored the goals.
Under 13;
Ballarat SC beat a valiant Buninyong 2-1. After going 1-0 down early, the team kept their heads up, and the pressure on. They were rewarded with 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. Daniel Laba Kohler scored our first and brother Izak scored our second.
Ballarat White girls lost 1-5 against Buninyong. Excellent effort going 1-0 up and showing a physically stronger team that we can match it with them. Maddy Hawker was our scorer.
Under 12 Won 3-2 v Daylesford. Hard fought win with Daylesford opening the scoring and then loading the midfield and backline preventing the boys from being able to move the ball around. Second half was a completely different game with plenty of ball movement and shots on goal.
MINI ROOS;
Under 11’s played well against a strong Daylesford side and were rewarded for good passing and positioning leading to goals. Special mentions to Will for good leadership from Goalkeeper and Adam for another solid defensive performance
Under 9’s Today was the derby most competitive game Ballarat white had played, credit to Ballarat SC. Some stand outs, Flynn and Tyler in goals, Dusty, Elwood and Baxter held the defence well from Ballarat white. Kobe, Oscar H, and Fletcher stood out Ballarat SC…
Under 8’s had an excellent match against Buninyong with great team work, talking and attitude. Lots of goals today best on going to Charlie Lewis scoring a hat trick and Ryan for great passing under pressure.
That the wrap for Wazza’s Birthday round.
