SENIORS;
Division 1 Men
Took the long trip to Horsham. At half time the hosts had the lead after scoring in the 35th. Fin (The Irishman) Farrell found the back of the net early in the second half but Horsham managed two more goals to take the points 1-3
Division 1 Women
Women’s was another tough match with Sebastopol being too strong, scoring 9. In quite a physical game the ladies kept fighting to the end and were rewarded with a late goal. Great effort from the Soccer Mums on the team who backed up after their big Gala Day tournament yesterday.
Division 2 Men
Played a high scoring match against the Vikings at St Georges . We had a 3-1 lead at half time but couldnt hold off a late charge from the hosts. Final score a 4-7 loss. Kayne Bedggood scored 2, Adam Pitt and Paul Frary one each.
JUNIORS;
UNDER 17’s
Ballarat SC had the bye.
Ballarat White.
The girls were awesome against the second Vic Park team. Didn’t get the points but Milly, Piper and Lil were brilliant in defense. Elijah again, great job keeping and Freyja led the midfield well. Jorja and Sienna also worked hard up front. Was a great effort from all the girls.
UNDER 15’s
Ballarat SC
Did very well in the first half, 3-2 up with only 10 on the field, up against a full Maryborough team + bench. Final score was 7-3 loss after just running out of legs, team played very well. Jake Frka scored 2 and Mitch Bassett 1.
Ballarat Red
Took on the Vikings at Pleasant Street. Vikings are a very strong unit and beat our guys 9-1 Jye Mullins scored our goal.
UNDER 13’s
Ballarat SC
Played the first game of the day against Vikings. They played an excellent team game, but had trouble cracking the Vikings’ defence, who displayed some impressive individual brilliance to run away with the game in the second half. The final score was 10-1, Mia Frary scored our goal with an excellent follow-up effort. Brody Monteduro was a stand-out performer on the left wing, while a brilliant Zidane-esque volley from Anwin Anshu was tipped over the crossbar.
Ballarat White Under 13 (girls)
Had a great 1-0 win against Daylesford. Sophie Hawkers goal from outside the box proving a difference between two evenly matched sides. Special mention to Keily Farrell with great game between the sticks and an all round defensive display by everyone involved
UNDER 12’s
U/12’s won 5-1 v Ballarat City. Our defenders played exceptionally well. Luke Irvin, Cooper Storer, Raiyan Abdullah, Jake Remington, Archie Stanyar were the goal scorers.
MINI ROOS
UNDER 11’s 3-2 win against Daylesford. They all played really well, especially our defense.
UNDER 9’s Both under 9 squads played Daylesford. Ballarat SC were on Pleasant Street and Ballarat White went to Daylesford.
Ballarat white had a win approximately 9-0… Great passing game and great team work in general..
UNDER 8’s
Played really well and scored lots of goals. Best on ground were Braxton and Charlie. Not sure of the scores as Coach Rose had to go to Melbourne to play the State women’s game.
I hope all the mums had a great day!!!
